What is Run Fest?
Run Fest at Panorama Farms is a springtime celebration of movement, community, and outdoor fun. With three unique events - the Trail 4-Miler, the 4-Person Relay, and The Fun One 1-Mile - runners and walkers of all ages and abilities can take part. Even dogs are welcome!
We are also excited to offer free outdoor activities with some of our partners - including pop-up classes from Formula Complete Fitness and Hot Yoga Charlottesville!
Food trucks on-site will include Otto and The Pie Guy, and all participants receive a free beverage ticket for the Random Row Biergarten (21+). We will also have non-alcoholic beverages available.
Set on the grounds of Panorama Farms, home to the UVA cross country teams and the 2023 NCAA Championships, Run Fest blends scenic trail running with music, local food and drink, and a whole lot of joy.
Exclusive Run Fest Amenities:
Most races end at the finish line, but at Run Fest, that’s just where the fun begins.
Start your morning with some fresh coffee from the Shenandoah Joe tent.
Cheer on your friends and teammates as they take on the morning race events.
Don some silent disco headphones for a custom Formula Complete Fitness workout.
Refuel at a local food truck (featuring Otto and The Pie Guy).
Soak up the views at Panorama Farms - normally closed to the public!
Stretch and recover with a Hot Yoga Charlottesville pop-up class.
Grab a cold craft beer or a non-alcoholic beverage from Random Row Brewing Co’s Biergarten.
Relax in the Sisu Space mobile sauna and cold plunge after the race.
Enjoy live music from local musicians throughout the day.
Run or walk with your dog, kids, and/or parents at the Fun One.
Celebrate community, walking, running, and everything in between!
About Panorama Farms:
Nestled in the rolling hills of Earlysville, Panorama Farms is one of Virginia’s most iconic running venues. As the home course of the UVA Cavaliers Cross Country teams and the host of the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championships, it offers a unique blend of challenge, beauty, and history.
Panorama Farms is private property and not open to the public - making Run Fest one of the rare opportunities to experience these trails firsthand.

UVA’s Innovation Hub at Charlottesville Middle School
Run Fest proudly supports the UVA Innovation Hub at Charlottesville Middle School, a partnership between the UVA School of Education and Human Development, Charlottesville City Schools, and the UVA Center for Community Partnerships.
The Innovation Hub engages every CMS student in hands-on, interdisciplinary learning that blends technology, creativity, and community connection. Through projects that integrate computational thinking, design, coding, and real-world problem-solving, students learn to think like innovators and build the skills they need for the future.
As the charity partner for our inaugural festival, proceeds from Run Fest purchases go to Innovation Hub programming. From educational resources for students to fellowship stipends for teachers, every dollar helps expand opportunities and deepen learning across Charlottesville Middle School.
